Christmas is on my mind ya’ll.
I asked my Insta-friends which they prefer, colorful Christmas decor or traditional red and white. Most went for the red and white. While I’ve always (see previous Christmas home tours 2013, 2014, 2015) done red and white. I’m seriously considering stepping out of the box this year for one reason: kids. You guys, I have two little babies running around here who want to help with everything. I love seeing her light up as we pull out the Christmas ornaments but you know what I don’t like? Feeling like I have to put the handmade ornaments on the back of my tree because they don’t “match.” I think having a colorful Christmas might release me from my attitude of perfection towards Christmas and allow me to embrace this stage of life with littles.

Plus, Millie is bound to tackle that tree so I’m destined for felt ornaments this year anyway!
I love this super girly and colorful tree and if I had a playroom it would be happening. But the whimsy of it might just be my inspiration this year.
I told you yesterday how I’m serious about being organized and intentional this holiday season. Here’s a great way to be sure your holiday is properly documented – A list of 20 photos you should take this Christmas.
These buffalo check stockings are everything.
My favorite striped pillows are back and in RED. Great for the holidays.
I’m still on the hunt for the perfect matching Christmas pajamas for the girls but these are major contenders. I did buy these nightgowns last week but there’s no such thing as too many Christmas jammies in my book.
