Where To Buy Cheap Decorative Pillows

I love love LOVE throw pillows. They are perfect accessory and really complete the look of a space. If you’re like me you may find yourself changing up pillows quite often so you need to find multiple sources for affordable and cheap decorative pillows. Today, I’m spilling my secrets on my favorite places to find cheap throw pillows. affordable pillows

A few years ago I bought a bunch of 20×20 down pillow inserts from Ikea. They were less than $10 each and it makes it super easy to change the look of a space by just changing out the pillow covers. I find down inserts to be the best when it comes to throw pillows. I prefer them over a cotton filled because they look fuller.

H&M has a home department on their website that cannot be beaten. The prices are fantastic. I especially love their linen pillow covers. They often have linen, cotton duck, and velvet pillow covers in an array of colors and they are cheap throw pillows (not in quality, only in price). I especially love this washed linen pillow cover for $13 and it comes in multiple colors. It’s a great basic or anchor pillow option.

Pier 1 is another great source for affordable pillows. Many colors and patterns to choose from and the prices are affordable!

I love love love Urban Outfitters. They’ve got super fun stuff for relatively inexpensive prices. I love their fun patterns and fabrics. Their prices aren’t as low as HM.com but their pillows seem to be a little more unique. They come in several colors and give a little whimsy to any space.Where to find cheap throw pillows - 15+ online sources for decorative pillows at budget prices

I must have been living under a rock because I just discovered Zara home. We don’t have a Zara nearby, so it’s been off my radar for a while now. Their selection how grown like crazy and most of their pillows are $30 or less. They range from basic solids to floral prints, many have trim details which I love. If you are looking for feminine yet cheap throw pillows, Zara is definitely worth a peek.

These are my top favorites, but other stores you should check out for cheap decorative pillows are:

Home Goods, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Ikea – Crate & Barrel – Ballard Designs – Land of Nod (kids store but many items could work in other spaces)

Favorite Pillow Shops on Etsy: Lily Pillow – Ariana Belle – Pop O Color

  1. I am like the queen of throw pillow so I can relate! Thanks for reminding me to check Urban Outfitters, I had forgotten about them AND I just recently heard about Zara Kids but didn’t even know they had a home decor section too! I get most of my pillows from Home Goods and World Market.

  2. I love Urban Outfitters home stuff too. I got a 5×7 rug for 20 bucks with free shipping. I am not lying. I still need to order something from H&M home. Great list and great pillow picks!

  3. Urban Outfitters kills me. Every time. For everything. Always. I”m so ashamed that I didn’t know they sold pillows. Thanks for the heads up!

  4. H&M has pillows?! Wha Wha Whhaaaat?! I’m going there tomorrow. Thanks for sharing the DIY arrow pillow as well, that thing is amazing! I am copying it as we speak and doing a mustache on one side and heart on the other, will send you the post when I finish! Thanks!

  5. Girl, I so needed this! Thanks so much for compiling all of these great resources! Pinning!

  6. Hobby Lobby also has a decent variety of covers for throw pillows for very reasonable prices! Most are only $8-10 🙂

  7. Awesome read! Great ideas 🙂 Just to throw it out there, this awesome site named society6.com sells great home decor, and while a bit more expensive it is incredibly unique and a great kick starter for artists (like me!). Heres a like to my storefront and the website. If you want to support up and coming artists its a great place to browse! http://society6.com/evelynturya

  8. No one EVER thinks about SteinMart for throw pillows, I used to work at one in the home decor department, and the selection was HUGE, prices were mostly in the 30 and below range (with there sales and coupons can get for much cheaper! Especially when they go on clearance which was a lot!) Check it out, they have online, but instore is soooo much better!
