A couple months ago, I was invited by Delta® Faucet to the Food52 test kitchen in New York City for the Delta ShieldSpray™ Event, and right away I was amazed at the innovation of this new feature.
I feel fortunate that I’m not the usual dishwasher in our home. That job is claimed by my husband because he knows just how much I despise the chore. Scrubbing pots and pans is the one thing I loathe the most. Just cleaning a spoon with something like peanut butter on it causes me stress.
These little peeves of mine were basically erased the day I met the Delta Faucet Esque Collection with ShieldSpray Technology. Visiting the Food52 Test Kitchen, we had the chance to try out a couple of recipes from their latest cookbook. We made the most delicious pinwheels stuffed with cream cheese, gruyere, spinach, and mushrooms. During clean up, we had the chance to preview the Delta Faucet with ShieldSpray in action and I was mesmerized by how easily the jet feature of the faucet blasted the cream cheese right off the spoon, no need to grab a sponge.
I selected the Esque™ faucet in Matte Black to install in my own kitchen and my opinion on dishes has been completely transformed. The ShieldSpray Technology allows you to clean dishes with a laser-like precision. The concentrated jet inside a dome-like water shield keeps the mess contained so you don’t have to worry about splatters all over yourself and the counters.
The Delta Faucet with ShieldSpray allows me to clean out a blender in no time, and it gets really clean. I am always drawn to products that are beautiful and functional. What good is having a pretty faucet that does not perform? A faucet is so essential to our every day that innovations such as a Delta ShieldSpray Technology make a big difference in our day-to-day life.
You can see how amazing the ShieldSpray technology is in action in the video below. Delta challenged me to make three different smoothies one after the other and see how easily the blender can be rinsed and reused without any scrubbing or splashback!
