Flocked Christmas Trees For Every Budget
There’s something nostalgic about the idea of a white Christmas. If you can’t have it outside, you can at least have a touch of it inside. In this post, I’m sharing all about the coziest of Christmas decor, flocked Christmas trees.
Unboxing our flocked tree each year continues to be one of my favorite parts of decorating for Christmas. We’re going on year three with ours and I can’t overstate how much I love it. Maybe it’s my heart longing for a snowy Christmas or the snow-covered branches bring just enough white for my neutral loving soul. Whichever the case, I’ll never get over it.

Growing up we always had a real tree. I loved going to the Christmas tree lot to pick out the very best option. I always loved a good Noble fir fresh from the lot. Matt and I continued that tradition after we got married even strapping a fresh tree to our little red Mazda in 99-degree weather on our first Christmas in Hawaii. I converted to a faux Christmas tree several years ago and I really appreciate the convenience and we can put our tree up earlier without fear of it drying out.

Since going from real to faux seemed like the biggest adjustment, everyone in my family was on board with going from a traditional green tree to a flocked one. The trick to a good flocked Christmas tree, like any faux tree, is the authentic look of the branches. I curated a list of great flocked trees in a range of styles and prices. The one we have is heavily flocked which I love. There are also some that appear as if they’ve received just a light dusting of snow and those are beautiful as well.
