My Essential Baking Tools
This post is sponsored by Walmart
Last week I made Peighton’s 9th birthday cake and it reminded me how much I love the tradition of making birthday cakes for my family. Every year the girls or Matt tell me what kind of cake they’d like to have for their birthdays and I do my best to oblige. I love baking and they love homemade treats. It’s a really fun tradition. Making that cake last week had me thinking about how much baking I’ve done over the last year and how much I love it. There are some tools that I’ve gotten from Walmart over the years that have really become essential to baking for me.
I’ve really built up my baking arsenal over the years baking different things from cookies and cakes to bread and I find myself buying a new baking tool every couple of weeks. I love ordering baking tools from Walmart.com using my Walmart+ membership.

My Essential Baking Tools found at Walmart.com
Pyrex measuring cups: I love this trio of measuring cups. The largest is perfect for mixing pancake batter right in it so you can mix and pour.
100 Cookies baking book: I’ve talked about this book before and I have to mention it again because I use it weekly. The brownie recipe in here is the absolute best I’ve ever had.
Silicone baking mats: These are a must-have in any baker’s kitchen. I especially love these because they have circles so you get perfect spacing on your cookies every time.
Spatula trio: I have several sets of these spatulas and they are the best for mixing up treats. I thought these were really cute with the confetti look.
Marble pastry board: I love love love this pastry board. I use it for making bread, pizza dough, and more.
Mixer: I think it goes without saying that a mixer makes baking a lot easier. I probably use my Kitchen Aid mixer 3-4 per week.
Dutch oven: A dutch oven is necessary for making artisan bread. I love an oval one for my bread because I prefer oval loaves. This one by Beautiful by Drew Barrymore is truly beautiful. It has great reviews.
Fish spatula: Hear me out, I know this is a fish spatula but it is perfect for everything. It’s nice and thin so it slips perfectly underneath cookies and pancakes for the perfect flip or slide off the spatula. I bought it for fish but I use it for everything now.
Half sheet pan: I own several of these Nordicware brand sheet pans and now they are the only ones I’ll buy. I love this brand of bakeware because it’s durable and lasts. I recommend having multiple sizes but the half sheet pan is my most used size.
Stainless steel prep bowls: I gave up my plastic bowls several years ago and swapped them out for stainless steel. I also have a glass set but I find myself using these stainless steel ones almost exclusively now.
I’d love to know what your must-have kitchen or essential baking tools are as well. Let me know in the comments below!
