Reese’s Pretzel Bites [A Valentine’s Day Treat]

Hey friends!

I’ve been whipping up some yummy treats to share.

It all started after Christmas when Matt asked me to make some yummy treat that a co-worker had brought in to work. He was going on and on about the salty sweet deliciousness. Well, I like salty sweet deliciousness so he didn’t have to ask me twice.

The originals were made with rolos but I spotted the cutest heart shaped Reese’s chocolates so I decided to change it up a bit.

And that proved to be the best idea E.V.E.R.

Reeses Pretzel Bites So the deal with these little babies is really nothing fancy.

Line a cookie sheet with some parchment paper. Layout your mini pretzels. Unwrap all your Reese’s chocolate hearts and place them on top of the pretzels. Toss them in the oven on a low heat, like 300 degrees or so for about 1-3 minutes. Keep a close eye on them because you want them the chocolate to melt just enough that they stick nicely onto the pretzels but not too much that they lose their shape. Take them out just when the chocolate starts to glisten/look shiny and melty. Once they are out top the chocolate with an m&m. Put the cookie sheet in the freezer for the Reese’s Pretzel Bites to set.

We loveeeee these treats cool and right out of the freezer but they are fab at room temperature too! They would be really fun to package a couple in a treat bag for homemade Valentine’s Day gifts too! Enjoy!!

  1. These sound great and look so cute! I think I might make these and regular ones (Hunter doesnt like PB..He’s weird..lol!) for V-Day!!!
    Thanks Chels for sharing!!

  2. I’m visiting from the Link Party Palooza on Lil’ Luna. I love pretzels and chocolate so your beautiful picture caught my eye. I’ve made something similar at Christmas time with Hershey’s Kisses in circular pretzels, but never thought to do them with other kinds of chocolates or for other holidays. Great idea!

  4. Ooh these look amazing! We don’t usually keep peanuts in the house with baby C’s allergy, but I may have to make an exception for these and stash them away somewhere! 😀 Thanks for sharing, friend!
