Uniform Rag Wreath
Happy Friday, everyone! Tomorrow is the United States Navy’s 237th birthday! Happy Birthday Navy! In honor of this special day I want to share a special project. My {NAVY} Uniform Rag Wreath. This can easily be done for any branch of military and it’s a great way to use old cammies that you might have laying around.
One thing I love about living in military housing is all the great military/American inspired decor.
This one is made up of one blouse and one pair of pants from my husband’s old uniform (He left a pen in the pocket of the blouse and ruined them both. Turns out camouflage doesn’t actually camouflage everything). I cut 1″ x 6″ strips and simply tied them onto a wire wreath frame. Instead of a typical yellow ribbon I used some yellow fabric scraps I had to make three small ruffles and hot glued them to the wreath.
What do you think?
Happy Birthday Navy! Any mil spouses out there, how do you celebrate your branch’s birthday?
That is super cute!!

Do they have to be tied or can you put multiple pieces together and hook them on to the frame with pipe cleaners?
