Using Ornaments To Decorate Your Home For The Holidays
Competing post titles are:
Easiest way ever to decorate your home for Christmas.
Cheap holiday decorating ideas.
Seriously.
Not sure if you caught on during my holiday home tour but I used ornaments just about everywhere.
You can snag a tube of 10-12 “shatter free” ornaments from the Dollar Tree for (you guessed it) $1. I love mixing those ornaments with a little bit fancier ones from Target and even glass ones I’ve had for years. My Target ones are still super affordable, around $5 for a dozen of “shatter free” bulbs. Target just has a bit more variety so you can really have a good mix.
If you have any vessels around – then you are already half way to having Christmas cheer all around you. Glass jar, bowls, trays, anything you can think of that holds “stuff” can be easily filled with ornaments bulbs for a quick pop of Christmas! Like this glass hurricane that I got at TJ Maxx for less than $5.
And this Ikea lantern in my dining room.
I even put a some in my glass lamp.
And remember last week when I shared my dining room, check out this quick centerpiece.
Even in a Ball jar. I could go on for days…
Holiday decorating doesn’t have to be super expensive or time consuming! Using ornaments to decorate your home will get your home holiday ready without in no time without breaking the bank!
Ps. I’m over at Lines Across today sharing a SUPER cute stamped log slice ornament. Come say hi!
So pretty! I think the lamp is my favorite! Thanks for the tips!
This is exactly what I do too! In fact I just picked more up from the Dollar Tree today 🙂 Love what you did with yours!
Such a simple pretty way to add to your Christmas decor – love this trick too Chelsea!
