Chalkboard Birthday Invitation

You GUYS!!! Can you hear me crying? I bet you can! My baby is turning O-N-E and I’m all weepy about it. How did a year go by already? It’s true what they say, time waits for no man.

So… since her birthday is just around the planning has begun.

We are doing a very small “milk & cookies themed” get together with a few friends here. Her birthday is very soon after my husband comes home from deployment so we don’t want to do anything too over the top.

And even though, it’s a very small party I just couldn’t resist making a chalkboard birthday invitation!

P's Birthday Invitation

You wouldn’t believe how easy it is to make one of these! I made mine using Photoshop Elements but the lovely Sarah from Alderberry Hill has a great tutorial on how to make one of these using the free online software, Picmonkey.com.

I’m pretty much in love with this cute little invitation! I hope my little party can live up to it’s adorable invitation. Ha.
