As long as Matt and I have been married, he’s been in the Navy. Eight years and just as many moves, we’ve gotten to see pretty much all of this great country together. We don’t just love it because we wouldn’t know anything else, we love it because of how awesome our military community is.

Matt has been all around the world now, on three separate deployments.I have always loved sending care packages and cards to him to keep his spirits up. As much as I miss him when he’s gone, I know he’s missing out on so much more. And as you can imagine, the things that keep him and all of the other sailors going are those comforts of home.

I am so excited about the Comforts From Home sponsored by Marie Callender’s. It gives everyone an opportunity to support our men and women in the military.

Simply purchase specially marked packages of Marie Callendar’s frozen dinners and desserts. Like this decious mini apple pie, which is perfect for those deployment nights when the kiddo is already in bed but you want a sweet treat!

Visit Comforts From Home and enter the eight digit code found on the box. Each code is a donation to USO2GO. USO2GO provides care packages full of comforts from home such as games, electronics, books, etc. to troops overseas.

For every entry by 1/31/2015 of an 8-digit code found on participating products, Marie Callendar’s will donate $.50 to the USO2GO program. Guaranteed minimum donation: $10,000. Maximum donation: $250,000. Limit five entries per person/computer per day. Valid only in the US.
