Good Stuff Saturday
It’s Saturday so that means it’s time for another round of Good Stuff Saturday – where I share all things good from the week. Let’s take a peek at the goodies I found this week.

Guys – Millie turns two this weekend. I’m a sappy mess. I met with a local photographer this week for a new headshot (see sidebar) and she snapped a couple really cute pics of me and the girls that capture their personalities pretty well.
This post from my friend Erica really spoke to me. If you follow decorating blogs you might be interested to know that us bloggers sometimes feel the frustration of the changing blog climate. Erica talks about the recent evolution of blogging that makes us feel inadequate if we aren’t sharing the biggest and grandest makeovers with professional pictures. As a reader, I love following people I can relate to. Do you feel the same way? I’d love your feedback on this thought as well. Do you love the real life behind the blog as much as the makeovers?
I’m intrigued by this coffee table DIY. It reminds me of this one from West Elm that I’ve been pining after for months.
I got this top in the mail this week and it’s everything I thought it would be. The ruffle sleeves! I also snagged this sweater which is 30% off this weekend.
This rug caught my eye this week and I can’t get it out of my head. It’s pricier than I would usually spend but it would be a splurge piece for sure. The 20% sale is really making me consider it. I’m going to search around for a comparable first.
Major friends and family sale at World Market this weekend. 30% off all the things. I bought the jute mirror I told you about a couple weeks ago! It was marked down to less than $70!
More sales over at Anthropologie as well. Additional 40% off all sale items. I snagged these earrings for less than $20.
I hope you have a great weekend! I’m off to make a minion cake for my almost two-year-old and drink all the coffee to get me through this day!
Awww….thank you so much, babe. You have no idea how much your support means. By the way, those pictures are absolutely gorgeous. Happy Birthday, Millie!
Much love,
Erica
I love the real life posts. Don’t get me wrong, i love the pretty pretty stuff too, but i totally relate to the real like posts. It makes me feel better about my pile of wall decor waiting to be hung up 🙂
Oh I’m so glad to hear this. Maybe I should share my walls that still haven’t been finished being painted. You know, the ones we started painting like 4 months ago 😉
