Holiday Gift Basket Ideas

My go to gift for friends, neighbors, and teachers is a gift basket. I love that you can tailor them to the person you are buying for. This year is my first year buying gifts for my daughters teachers. I love the chance to spoil them a little bit because they take such good care of my girl throughout the school day and she truly loves them.

Inspired by BHG Live! I decided to curate two gift baskets for our two teachers using these chicken wire baskets. They both have a cozy feel. I love the baskets because not only are they a great vessel for gift giving but the basket itself is so useful for the recipient as well. Everyone loves baskets!
I love this “cozy kitchen” basket. I started with the chicken wire basket, then added in some tea towels, this darling apron (found in the store), and some homemade hot cocoa mix.
I put the hot cocoa mix in one of these beautiful acacia wood topped glass canisters that I found at my local store. I love that once the hot cocoa mix is gone she’ll be able to use it for other things as well.
This basket is full of warm and cozy items. I found this blanket at my local Walmart store and as soon as I felt it I had to buy it. It’s so soft and luxurious feeling. I paired it with an accent wax warmer and a few seasonal favorite scented cubes.
For a more personal touch, I added an ornament with a handwritten message on the back.
