Life Lately
Hey friends! I hope you had a great weekend! We took a spontaneous visit to Disney on Saturday only to be rained out. Both of my kids were more(hysterically) upset about being rained on than the fact that we were having to leave Disney. Ha! Then, yesterday Matt and I spent some time putting up a glass shower door for our master bath shower. We just might be in over our heads with this DIY but we’re going with it 🙂
Okay let’s dive into it – here’s what’s been going on with our life lately!
THANK YOU
I have to extend a serious, heartfelt BIG thank you to you guys! You made my eBook, Don’t Wait, Decorate launch so special! When I set out to write this book, I hoped people would buy it, enjoy it, and use it but as the launch grew closer I started second guessing myself and wondering if anyone who buy it at all. Well, you guys showed me that going with your gut will win every time! Thank you so, so much for buying the eBook, and just supporting this blog! It means the world to me that you are here!
Millie girl is almost one.
I had a slight panicky moment last week as I was making a few appointment and flipping through my calendar. Millie is turning one this coming Saturday and I’m seriously no sure how that happened. I had a slight panicky moment last week as I was making a few appointment and flipping through my calendar. Millie is turning one this coming Saturday and I’m seriously no sure how that happened. She was born yesterday right? I mean can she reallyyyyy be turning one already? Father Time is brutal on a mama’s heart sometimes. As impossible as it seems to have an almost toddler, I am truly loving this phase of babyhood. She is so independent and is learning something new every day. Peighton and I are super excited to bake her a little cake this weekend and celebrate her special day!
One Year in the Florida House
Cute Millie’s bday isn’t the only thing we’re celebrating in the coming days – you might remember that we were in the process of buying the Florida house right around the time Millie was born! In fact, we got the keys just a few days later. It’s almost impossible to remember what this house looked like when we first laid our eyes on it over a year ago. I mean, it was a mess. It’s come a longggg way and I’m so proud of everything we’ve done in just a year’s time. This house is such a treasure to us – and I’m almost too attached it. It’s going to be a devastation when we actually have to move away from it. That’s one of the hard parts of military life. I’m planning on sharing a 1 year before and after tour on the blog soon so be on the look out for that!
That picture of your girls together…. oh my gosh. Such beauties!! Big congrats on such a successful book launch!
xoxo thanks friend!
