THREE Thoughtful and Affordable Gift Ideas
This post is sponsored by BHG Products at Walmart. All opinions and ideas are my own.
I love, love, love this time of year. It’s not just the twinkling lights and hot cocoa, It’s the true spirit of the season. I just love the thoughtful gift giving, the truly heartfelt offerings to loved ones. That’s what makes it the most wonderful time of the year. Today while we were strolling through the store I was explaining to my daughter how the holiday season was about giving, not receiving. That’s a hard thing for a two year old to grasp. However, to see her eyes light up as she was choosing a gift for her little friend made me realize that even she understands how wonderful it is to give.
Although, thoughtful gift giving might take a bit of time to come up with the perfect gift, it definitely doesn’t have to break the bank. BHG at Walmart asked me to come up with some holiday gift ideas for the season and I had such a great time coming up with a few ideas of thoughtful, yet affordable gift ideas. My favorite part? All these beautiful items can easily be found and purchased as they are Better Homes and Gardens products at Walmart!
The first give I put together is this festive kitchen basket filled with a chalkboard labeled canister and some holiday red dish towels.
I filled the canister with a favorite treat and then labeled it “sweets and treats.” This would also be perfect for cookies!
The next gift I put together is perfect for just about anyone on your list. It’s got a warm and cozy theme going with this delightfully soft and cozy chenille throw. It comes in several colors including this beautiful ivory. This would be a great gift to enjoy year round. I keep throw blankets in baskets in my living room ready to pull out for a cozy movie night!
I also included this delicious smelling three wick candle. I also love the copper color.
For my last gift idea, I was trying to come up with the perfect gift for the coffee lover. I wanted something a bit more than the typical mug and coffee. I was hoping for something that would last for years to come. I love these Better Homes and Gardens frames, when I saw this one I knew right away what I wanted to do for my coffee loving, friend!
I printed out “BUT FIRST COFFEE” on a piece of cardstock and popped it into the frame. I paired it with a cute coffee mug with some ribbon around it. I know my friend is going to absolutely love this gift! Perhaps the person on your list isn’t a coffee drinker, maybe it’s tea. You could also frame an inspirational quote you love or even a photo. The possibilities are plentiful!
