Upcycle Key Holder
Hi there. For my debut project I wanted to share with you something quick and simple, and very inexpensive, my upcycle key holder. I keep a little table by the front door of my home to drop keys, sunglasses, mail, sometimes toys, whatever I might be carrying in my hands that I need to drop when I get in the door to free up a hand.
I found this cute little pedestal bowl at the thrift store for $.98. Total steal and the perfect key holder. I brought it home and spray painted it brown and used it like that for several months.
Recently, I decided it could use a bit of a facelift. Keeping it simple, I just added some vinyl lettering before spray painting it white. After allowing it dry for about 20 minutes I carefully removed the letters. Simple as that.
I loved the way it turned out. Fresh and clean and perfect for keys or whatever you like to drop at the front door.
Love it! I am off to find a pedestal bowl to make one for my classroom! 🙂
