12 Gorgeous Options for Backsplash Tile

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Floor & Decor for IZEA Worldwide. All opinions are 100% mine.

I don’t know when it happened but in the last few years, Matt and I have become a little obsessed with tile. Not just ceramic 12×12 pieces of tile, but tile with personality. You know what I’m talking about. We’ve been known to visit model homes just to check out the latest tile trends. I’ve also snapped pictures of tile I covet and store them on my phone for future use in a future home. Do you do this too?

A few years ago we installed backsplash in our kitchen. Now, I would call it basic marble herringbone but at the time it felt anything but basic. Today, marble is still a classic choice but there is a shift going on in the design world that has much more bold options becoming mainstream and I’m here for it.

In the last few years, gorgeous tile has become more accessible thanks to companies like Floor & Decor. They watch trends and make products available to meet the needs of the consumer offering hundreds of choices when it comes to tile, wood, and stone. I visited the new store in Jacksonville, FL last week to talk to my favorite designer there about the latest tile trends and my biggest takeaway from our chat was that gorgeous tile options are more accessible now than ever.

When we tiled our backsplash, there was really only a handful of on-trend options available without special ordering. Floor & Decor has dozens of modern tile options that are in stock (no special ordering) and at competitive prices making it worth the trip. If you’re on the hunt for backsplash tile, here are some of my favorites available at Floor & Decor right now.

You can see a large variety of tile on the Floor & Decor website (which I recommend previewing before you head to the store). With all of those options, it can feel overwhelming at first when you visit Floor & Decor. They make the process much easier by offering free design services. I met with Christen, a designer at Floor & Decor, to discuss some modern tile trends.

One trend that I loved when we were doing our master bathroom makeover was glass tiles. I was amazed at how many money color options there are now opposed to just one year ago. This blue subway tile gives all the modern coastal vibes.

Another thing I love about visiting Floor & Decor is that the designers do a great job of giving you inspiration for your own space. Their design area is full of inspired spaces like this bathroom. That tile is everything.

I’m loving this bold option for a tile backsplash.

We’re lucky enough to have two Floor & Decor stores in Jacksonville now. If you’re in the market for backsplash tile or any other flooring or tile I recommend visiting Floor & Decor. You contact a designer and get inspired before you begin your project.

I’d love to know if you’d use any of these gorgeous tile options in your own home. Let me know in the comments below! Pin the image below to save for later.

I know all of these tile options would be a great match with any of the grey kitchen cabinets.
