17 of my Favorite Bathroom Cabinet Paint Colors

Selecting the right paint color for your bathroom cabinet can significantly contribute to the aesthetic and appeal of your entire bathroom. The choice of color can create an illusion of a larger space, set the mood and theme, and complement or contrast with the bathroom tiles, walls, and other fixtures and decor. From crisp whites and cool grays that offer a modern, clean look, to bolder choices like navy blue or green that add a touch of luxury and sophistication, the bathroom cabinet paint colors are numerous. Understanding how various different colors interact with lighting and other elements in the bathroom is crucial in making a well informed choice for your design.

In no specific order here is a round up of my all time favorite bathroom cabinet paint colors. Some I have used in the past and others I am hoping to use when I finally have my forever home.

Blue Bathroom Cabinet Paint Colors

Blue Gray Bathroom Cabinet

Starting off we have this stunning bathroom vanity. I love love love the bluish gray paint color shown here. If you have been a long time blog follower that you alreaady know I absolutely love anything blue (or bluish). This is totally a color that I would use in my own home design. The designer here even took the paint color a step further and added it to the ceiling which adds a nice touch in an unexpected location. While I am not sure of the exact color used here a close color match is Benjamin Moore’s Cloudy Sky.

Royal Blue Bathroom Cabinet

Next up we have this deep royal blue painted bathroom vanity. This is a great option for those who want to add some boldness to their bathroom. I love how the color stands out against the light gray walls and marble tile which forces the bathroom vanity to be the focal point of the room. As the name royal blue implies the darker paint color also adds a touch of luxury and richness to the overall design of this bathroom.

Powder Blue Bathroom Cabinet

Moving on to a lighter and more subtle blue, this powder blue bathroom cabinet is a great option for those who want to add a touch of color without being too bold. The soft color adds a calming feel to the bathroom while still remaining visually appealing. This paint color works well with both traditional and modern bathroom designs and can be paired with various different tile colors and wall colors.

Navy Blue Bathroom Cabinet

I have used Navy blue for a painted dresser in the past and it was one of my favorite furniture pieces, so i would absolutely consider paint my bathroom vanity a shade of navy blue.

Light Wood Bathroom Cabinet

Besides blue I also adore the look of natural wood. I think that natural wood, partiucularly a light natural wood is the perfect look for a coastal or farmhouse inspired bathroom vanity. Light wood is versatile and can coordinate with pratictaly any wall color and tile combination.  

Medium Wood Bathroom Cabinet

If you are looking for a slightly darker natural wood option, consider using a medium natural wood color. This type of wood adds a warmth and richness to your bathroom design without being too dark or overwhelming. Medium wood also pairs well with other natural elements like natural stones or fresh greenery, which when combined can help you create a serene and calming bathroom atmosphere.

Dark Wood Bathroom Cabinet

This bathroom vanity example is a true show stopper and a beautiful focal point in this bathroom. The dark wood bathroom cabinet is the perfect balance between traditional and modern, which makes it a great option if you want to add some character to your bathroom design. I love the dark countertop and dark vanity combination in an otherwise light bathroom.

This is another bathroom vnaity that I could 100% see myself using in my forever home. My favorite thing about the weathered wood look is that is it easily customizable, so if you want a lightly weathered wood look or a more extremely weather wood look the choice is up to you and distressing the vanity is relatively easy to do as well. I typically prefer a lighly weathered look for my furniture pieces.  A weathered wood bathroom vanity is also very versatile whether you are going for a classic bathroom design a coastal design or the ever popular farmhouse design this vanity will look amazing in your space.

Gray Bathroom Cabinet Paint Colors

Light Gray Bathroom Cabinet

I love gray just about as much as I love all things blue. This first gray bathroom vanity is truly something special. What makes this design so great to me is the cabinet coordinates with the marble tile wall backsplash. The linen storage shelf is also a great way to maximize space in this bathroom.

Medium Gray Bathroom Cabinet

Medium Gray is another great color option for a bathroom cabinet. This paint color works well with other neutral elements like white, black or wood accents. I particularly love the dark gray countertop paired with the medium gray vanity in this example.

Dark Gray Bathroom Cabinet

This just might be my favorite of all the painted bathroom cabinets shown here.   I love the dark gray color and the sleek modern design of this bathroom vanity. The white countertop adds a nice contrast to the dark cabinets while also adding some brightness to the room. The designer also chose to use a light green on the walls which is a fabulouos choice. 10 out of 10 on this bathroom design.

Yellow Bathroom Vanity

Feeling bold?  Why not try a yellow bathroom vanity! This bright and cheerful color choice is sure to make a statement in any bathroom.  Pair it with white walls and accents for a crisp and clean look, or go all out and use other bright colors like pink or blue to create a fun and playful bathroom design.

For a simple and classic look, you can never go wrong with a bright white bathroom cabinet. This color choice is perfect for those who want to keep their bathroom design minimalistic and clean.
