Calming the Most Hectic Part of Our Day with LG Smart Security

The busiest part of my day is just before dinner time when the kids start getting a little wacky and I have to be in the kitchen preparing our meal. Usually, I have to stop 321 times because someone is hungry, someone is shouting from the play room that they can’t find a certain baby doll, or someone just simply wants mama. This may seem a little over the top but it has made this typically crazy time of day go much smoother. Since the LG Smart Security has a 5 mega-pixel camera, I can I see my girls right there on my iPhone using the ADT Canopy app. I can also use the microphone feature to talk to them through the device instead of shouting through the house or running in there. And since the girls know I can hear/see them – they stay put and talk to me directly through the device -they think it’s like magic!
LG Smart Security can also be used as a central hub for other smart home devices, such as lights, locks, and thermostats through the mobile app. For example, I can control my lights through the device using smart lightbulbs or smart plugs, such as the GE Z-Wave Wireless Smart Lighting Control Appliance Module. It’s also compatible with Amazon Alexa-enable products.
Not only is the LG Smart Security device great for keeping an eye on your kids when you are home, it’s amazing for when you aren’t. I fully intend to use it to check in with them when we have a babysitter.
