Hot Cocoa Bar with FREE Printable SignOne of my favorite things about the cooler months is having hot cocoa and coffee throughout the day. Since we renovated our kitchen last year I dreamed of adding a little cocoa bar for the holidays in this little spot. I thought it would be perfect to have accessible for when friends drop by or family comes to visit. I set it up today and I seriously LOVE it.

How to create the best holiday hot cocoa bar:holiday-cocoa-bar-with-free-printable-8

To me, a good hot cocoa bar has a few essentials: obviously hot cocoa, to go cups because sometimes you want to be able to take your drink with you, and treats! I know it’s a beverage bar but nothing goes better with coffee and hot cocoa than sweets like cookies and cakes.

We have a Keurig 2.0 which is super convenient for making a quick cup of hot cocoa or coffee. I put all the K-cups in this serving bowl for easy access.holiday-cocoa-bar-with-free-printable-11

Then of  course you need the fixings like chocolate chips, and candy canes, and of course marshmallows (which aren’t pictured because I totally forgot to set them out before these photos).

I added the fixing to this wood slice server I got from Walmart – it’s the Better Homes and Gardens line. Side note: It was only $13.88 and LOVE it. I’m planning on going back to my store to get a few more before Thanksgiving.

I also picked up these little houses with the intention of making a little Christmas village for my console table but I love them here too. They are so festive. Would you believe they are actually salt and pepper shakers? So cute!

I mentioned the importance of a sweet treat when it comes to a hot cocoa bar. I think Miss P would agree – a homemade bundt cake is a must. She was so excited to finally get to dig into this pumpkin chocolate chip bundt cake we made.
