End of Year Teacher Gift – Or Classmate Gift

Hi Friends,

I wanted to pop in really quick to share a sweet end of the year teacher gift idea. My oldest just finished her first year of Kindergarten and oh man what a year it was. I could never put into words how special this year has been for her and all of our family but I did want to do something extra special for her teacher and the other children in her class.

A month or so ago we got all the kids together to make a thank you video for our beloved teacher and I grabbed one of the still images from that day to have a special piece of art made to memorialize this amazing school year.

CUSTOM PORTRAIT

I contacted the artist I had used for another illustration a while back and she was happy to work on this custom portrait of the kids. I simply sent her an original picture, and any close up photos she might need to get their look just right. Within days she sent me this incredible piece that captured each of their personalities perfectly.

It cost me just about $60 for the artwork + (7) 4×6 prints. Then I went to Target and picked up some $2 frames and framed each of the prints. I added a handwritten note and packaged them up.

I wanted a very personal end of the year teacher gift and this absolutely fit the bill. If you’re looking for the perfect end of the year teacher gift or end of the year classmate gift, I encourage you to consider something really personalized like this!
