Fashion Friday | One Top, Two Ways

If you need a versatile top, I have just the one. Here’s a beautiful and comfy top that you can dress up or down. See it styled two ways!

Hi gals! Happy Friday! If you were here, I’d hand you a margarita and ask you to tell me about your week. Mine flew by and I’m sitting here wondering how it’s already March. Spring is on the way y’all. In Florida, it’s already here. I ordered a top a couple weeks ago that I’ve completely fallen in love with. It’s a bit pricier than I would typically go for a top but after discovering how versatile it is, I’ve decided it’s worth the price. I styled it two ways here to give you a little inspiration but this top is so versatile I can think of at least five more ways just off the top of my head. Be sure to scroll all the way down to see a sneak peek at even more ways to style this top!

One Madwell Top, Two Ways

This top is the perfect lightweight option for spring. It fits true to size, I’m wearing a small here. It’s lightweight but not see through. It has a slight bell sleeve that is just so sweet. It’s also slightly cropped making it perfect to pair with high-waisted jeans like I’m wearing here. These are my go-to high-waisted jeans. It’s not so cropped that you couldn’t front tuck it with a midrise jean though.

You could pair this Madewell top with darker denim, some fun mules, and be ready for errands or even a casual lunch with the girls. These mules are less than $25 and worth every penny. You need them! I’ve worn it with my favorite distressed jeans for an even more casual look and it still works so well. It’s dressy enough to elevate the most casual denim. My favorite thing about this look is that you can easily go from day to night by adding some pretty jewels like statement errands and stack of bangles along with some pretty pumps.

This crossbody bag is my current everyday bag. I love how the gray pairs with this shade of blue.

Here’s a closer look at the details of the top. It looks solid blue from far away but it’s truly a very thin blue and white stripe.

Second Look

The second look is just as effortless as the first. This top requires very little to be flattering. Here I paired it with white denim and these flirty cork block heels. The heels just shout spring, don’t they?

Of course, you know how much I loved this clutch. I shared it last week. It’s the perfect vacation accessory and it’s only $26! I’ll be carrying it all spring/summer that’s for sure.

A couple more options

And because two ways isn’t enough for this sweet Madewell top, here are a couple more ways you could style it. I’ve already been wearing it nonstop with my favorite distressed jeans (true to size) but last weekend I tried it on with a denim skirt. Guys, I don’t think I’ve had a denim skirt for at least 8 years. I love this highwaisted one (size up at least one size) and it’s really darling.
