Christmas Home Tour Part 2: Bedroom
Hey! I’m so glad you popped in because it’s another home tour day! Marty from A Stroll Thru Life hosts the best shindigs and I’m thrilled to be joining in the Christmas Tour of Homes. If you are stopping by from Our Fifth House, welcome! Carmel is really killin’ it in that sixth house! And her Christmas decor, I just love her white tree!
I’ve already shared my front porch and my main living area decorated for Christmas so, today I’m sharing a fun and cozy space, our master bedroom. This is the last and final of my holiday decor. I’ve kept my decor simple this year because with little hands and busy feet simple makes more sense.

This is the first year that I’ve actually decorated our room for Christmas. I’ve dreamed of a cozy space with lights twinkling for a couple of years now but this year, I finally did it. It all started when I was at Target buying flannel sheets because it’s winter and 50 degrees in Florida means you need flannel sheets (I can feel the northerners rolling their eyes). I found these festive ones and like all of my decorating that lead to more and more and next thing I knew I had the festive and cozy space I’d been dreaming about!
The bulk of the decor works well with my every day decor, blues and white. I couldn’t resist this pom pom pillow and the pop of color that it provides. So cheerful.
This Merry & Bright print was handmade by a friend. I had been drooling over it on Instagram for awhile and she was so sweet to gift me one of my own.
Little details in this space really bring the Christmas feel to life.
One more thing, before bed last night Peighton and I were laying down watching the twinkling lights and she leaned over and said, “this is like magic, Mommy.” How precious is it that we can create such a feeling of magic in our home this time of year? I wish you that same sense of magic in your home this season!
Thank you so much for joining me today! Next, you’ll want to pop over and see Laura from Inspiration for Moms! She just renovated her kitchen and it’s gorgeous! I can’t wait to see what she has in store for Christmas!
