Paint Dipped Paint Can Planters
Hi friends! I’m so excited that it’s October. So Cal is finally cooling off and I’m able to find pumpkins (and all things pumpkin flavored) so easily now 🙂 This week I bought so beautiful while heirloom pumpkins and some gorgeous mums to spruce up my front porch a little bit. You know from my painted leaves that I’ve been using aqua in my decor this year. I carried that theme outdoors with these paint dipped paint can planters.
I kind of, okay I really love these planters. They are super easy to customize plus they are a really fun alternative to your typical fall planter!

I bought these empty paint cans from The Home Depot.
To give them the “paint dipped” look, I covered and taped off the top of the paint cans and spray painted the bottom half aqua.
I told you about my mums score on Instagram. I got a bunch of mums plants for only $.88 each! Awesome deal! I planted two plants in each paint bucket.
Here’s a look at the whole display. Don’t you love the pop of aqua from the paint dipped paint can planters? Such a great contrast with the colorful mums, as well.
Happy October, everyone! What kinds of fall things are you up to?
