A Red & White Christmas Vignette

Hi friends! I hope you guys are having a great week so far. I finally finished some of my Christmas home decor this week. Have I told you that this is the first year I’ve been able to decorate a home for Christmas in three years? It’s true. We’ve been moving around Christmas time every year for the last three years. When I pulled those totes out of the garage this year I was smiling ear to ear! And you know what, I think I’ll be decorating for Christmas all the way up until Christmas Day. Ha.

But for now, I want to show you my Red & White Christmas Vignette.

I decided on red and white this year rather easily. I already had a lot of red stuff from years before and this year I’ve really been drawn to the clean and crispness of white.

Shall we get into the details??

I got this tray at Joann’s on clearance for $3. I knew it was too good to pass up but I wasn’t sure what I was going to do with it. It turned out to be the perfect piece for the center of my vignette. The Christmas bulbs came from the dollar store and the pinecones I had left over from fall.

My mom picked up these glass vases at her local Good Will for .15 each! What a steal? She had some extras so I brought them home with me. I filled the vases with peppermint sticks, miniature pinecones, and mini ornaments; all of which came from the dollar store.

Do you like my little deer? Me too! Found this cute little guy at Marshalls last week. He just had to come home with me. Oh I almost forgot to mention my nutcracker! Forgive me. I was so excited about this find. I’ve never had a nutcracker before. Crazy huh?

For a little height, I used these candle holders and just wrapped a pieces of red houndstooth ribbon (I know, so cute right?) around the candles.

The garland is probably my favorite part of the whole display. It’s just pieces of card stock circles sewn together. Super easy and adds some charm.

This “Sleigh Bells Ring” sign is a homemade beauty. I love the way it came out. It works perfectly in this red and white vignette.

I love how Christmasy it feels in here now. The combo of bright red and the crisp white, is just perfect for a festive feel. And I love how easily it came together.
