Let It Snow Winter Wreath

Hey there everyone! I know you all have been busy busy busy arranging the holiday decor. I just pulled my fall wreath off the door yesterday. We were out of town until then, and driving through my neighborhood I saw some beautiful Christmas decorations. I felt left behind! That’s what I get for going out of town.

Fear not, I caught up quickly. And now, it’s officially winter over here since my wreath is up. I was giggling at myself a little bit today while hanging the wreath as it was probably close to 75 degrees outside. I don’t anticipate any snow this year but a girl can dream, right?

I knew right away that I wanted an aqua winter wreath this year. I just love the color and it looks so pretty against the contrasting white. I did a simple yarn wrapped wreath with lots of embellishment.

There is a mixture of embellishments here. My mom {the crochet queen} whipped up two different kinds of crocheted flowers for me. Oh how I wish I could master the art of crochet. This lefty has such a hard time with it. Then I added some felt flowers, and fabric rosettes. The little white snowballs were leftover from my Snowflake Glitter Garland as were the two snowflakes.

I added the “Let It Snow” bunting last minute, I think it completes the wreath. Don’t you?

I am so pleased with it, the color is so fun and it really stands out from the street! Happy winter 🙂

  1. That’s really cute! I’m sure it took a lot of patience to wrap the wreath form so carefully. Not sure I could do it and have it turn out so nicely! The colors look great against your brown door. Here’s hoping for snow!

  10. In love with this and would love to do something like this as a gift for my aunt this year! I don’t know if I could ever make this like you did so my question to you is if you ever make things and sell to people? Or if that is something you’re looking into?
