Mod Podge Monogram Ornament
Hi friends and happy Monday!! Did you all have a good weekend? How are you doing on your shopping list? Is anyone finished shopping yet?
I hope you aren’t sick of holiday projects yet! Because I’m so excited to share this monogram ornament with you guys!
I love this one because it’s an inexpensive and quick way to make a personalized ornament. It would be a great gift for those working on handmade presents.
This little ornament requires the following supplies:
A chipboard monogram letter
Paper – I used scrapbook paper I had left over from last year. I think it would be lovely with book pages though
Mod Podge
Paintbrush
Exacto knife
Ribbon
I mentioned this is super easy. It is! Take your chipboard letter and paint some Mod Podge onto it. Then, place your scrapbook paper over top and press firmly to make sure it sticks really well.
After allowing the Mod Podge to dry take your exacto knife and cut off the excess paper.
After you’ve trimmed off the excess paper, give it another coat of Mod Podge over top.
Allow to dry then attach your ribbon to the back (I attached mine with hot glue).
That’s it! You’re all set to wrap your ornament up as gift or place it on your tree! I told you it was easy 🙂
