Round Dining Tables
While we were sitting around our dining table over the weekend playing our 321st game of Sorry, Matt looked at me and said, “I think it’s time for a new table.” This was music to my ears, y’all. The table we have in our breakfast nook has been through it with us. It’s served us well, for a $50 Craigslist find. We’ve painted it a few times now, and it just looks pretty weathered. When Matt tells me it’s time for something new, I don’t ask questions. I take yes for an answer and start searching for a table. New year, new table.

Modern Coastal Round Dining Tables
If you are on the hunt for a round dining table, I’ve got you covered! I’ve always loved a round dining table. Since we gave up our formal dining room for my home office, this breakfast nook is our main dining space. Since it’s small-ish, it needs a round dining table. I’ve searched the web for modern coastal inspired round dining tables that have clean lines with a more rustic or weathered finish. I realized that you can really get a beautiful table at pretty much any price point. You’ll see these tables range in price from under $400 to over $1200. Number 7 is my dream table – I love the color and the style while number 5 is the perfect price point for a table that we use every single day (for all things not just eating)! Number two is less than $400 and comes with a leaf insert which comes in really handy.
I’d love to hear what your pick would be. Or, if you have any of these tables, an honest review would be even better!
Personally, I like number 1, but with the legs the way they are, it would be difficult to squeeze more than four people around the table. Number 7 is gorgeous and you should go with what you like, as it is your house!!! 🙂
That’s always the challenge when you like them all! They are all really beautiful. Number 1 is gorgeous – I love the clean lines but like you said, the bottom could be tricky. Thanks for your input, Betty!
Number 7 definitely. The base has almost that “tree trunk” quality that is so organic and appealing. And it could survive a busy, active family, serve as a homework headquarters, craft table, or serve its original purpose, as a place for family meals and memories.
I really like Number 2 and it looks like it would fit in with my current furniture. I only have a small shaped dining L and have a full size table which makes the room feel smaller. I am anxious to hear which one you choose.
Thanks for your input, Ida!
Number 2 has a great look but a flimsy pendelstal base. Think kids pushing down on one side. After a while it’s wobble city. Number 7 has it all…stability, style, and that coastal look. Maybe wait for a sale?
My pick is number 2 – good luck with your choice 🙂
