Crock Pot Cheesy Tortellini Recipe
This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group™ and Barilla, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #JoytotheTable http://cmp.ly/3/8vNxcO.
I LOVE my crock pot. I use it to death in the winter months. I just love be able to dump the ingredients in and letting it do all the work for me! So I’m always trying out new easy crock pot recipes.
One of my favorite crock pot meals is Cheesy Tortellini. I’ve made it for years and my family loves it.
It’s easily one of the tastiest crock pot meals ever. Cheesy tortellini with sweet italian sausage, in a cheesy tomato sauce. What more could you want? The best part? You can totally hide in a bunch of healthy vegetables for the kids (and husband)!
You can find this Barilla Tortellini in the pasta section. I love the three cheese and the cheese and spinach varieties. Can’t go wrong with either one.
To make, I added all my ingredients except for the Barilla Tortellini into my crock pot and let it cook on high for about 4 hours. Towards the end of the cook time, I boiled the tortellini separately until it was cooked al dente.
Then I stirred in the tortellini…
and cheese. mmm… cheese.
I always serve mine with a little extra cheese on top. More cheese is better I say.
