Valentine’s Day Decor: Sweet Valentine’s Day Wreath

Friends! I’m so glad to see you back here on this beautiful Friday! I’ve been sharing lots of Valentine’s Day projects with you all the last few weeks but today’s is probably my favorite one so far! I’m working really hard on getting my Valentine’s Day decor all together so I can show you my sweet little vignette…next week! Here is another piece to that puzzle.

Valentine's Day Decor Valentine's Day Wreath

This is probably one of my favorite wreaths I’ve ever made. It’s so sweet and simple and perfect for Valentine’s Day! The best part of all though is it was so inexpensive to make! You all know how I love a nice cheap project. The wreath came from Hobby Lobby around Christmas time. It was only a few bucks. Everything else, I had on hand or picked up at my favorite dollar store ever, The Dollar Tree!

I wanted to go simple with this sweet Valentine’s Day wreath, and I’m so glad I did. I feel like the red and white really pop against the natural and rustic look of the twig wreath.

Now, for the details! I made the paper medallions out of the left over paper bag I had from my Paper Bag and Washi Tape Heart Bunting. Then I glued red foam glitter hearts from the dollar store to the center. The white paper doilies are also from the dollar store and the red glitter XO I had left over from another project. I also added a little burlap bunting to the middle of my wreath and glued some more of the little red glitter foam wreaths to each of the flags. To finish up my Valentine’s Day wreath, I added a red ribbon for hanging.

Ah, I want to keep it up all the time. Is that allowed? I love that it feels so classic Valentine’s Day and I love the RED. What do you think? Tell me, do you go all out with your Valentine’s Day home decor or just a few touches here and there?

Happy Weekend friends – see ya back here on Monday with more Valentine’s Day goodness. Of course if you need a Valentine’s Day fix be sure to check out my Pinterest board or see some of my other Valentine’s Day projects including:

  1. I LOVE the wreath! It’s so cute! I like that it’s not over-the-top, but is still adorable! I’d want to keep it up all year, too! 🙂

  2. Hi Chelsea! This wreath is adorable, as is everything you do. Love that you were able to use some stuff that you already had on hand, with other stuff from the dollar store. Sometimes I go all out for Valentine’s, other years, like this one, I only put up one or two things. Something about trying to do a blog at the same time has me a little short on time. Still don’t know how you do it so well. But yes, I remember someone asking me the same when mine were little bitty, and I replied saying that you’d be surprised how little sleep you could get by on! I guess I’ve gotten a little more greedy with my sleep in my older years! Enjoy your weekend.

  6. I love your wreath! I haven’t done any decorating for Valentine’s Day – I’m such a slacker – but I’m pinning this so you’ve inspired me to make one (I don’t know if it’ll be for this V-day, but someday!)
