Greige and taupe cabinets bring a depth to the kitchen that the other paint colors on the list cannot do. There is no such thing as a true white paint color but Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace is as close as it gets. It’s the closest to pure white of all the white paint colors mentioned here. With big windows that allow natural light to pour in, these white cabinets make a space feel so light and bright. As white cabinetry, it’s perfection. Some may consider this paint color a bit stark as it is a bright white but if you’re looking for clean and bright – this is it. Also, you can warm it up easily by pairing Chantilly Lace white cabinets with warm wood flooring and brass hardware.

Benjamin Moore Decorator’s White Painted Kitchen Cabinets

Another nice option for white kitchen cabinets is the accurately named paint color by Benjamin Moore, Decorator’s White. With an LRV of 84.61 it has somewhat more depth than Chantilly Lace. It’s a cool white with some very slight gray undertones giving it that coolness. In a kitchen with a lot of natural light Decorator’s White appears like a beautiful bright white. If you don’t have a lot of natural light, be aware you may see a hint of the blue/gray undertones coming through. 

Benjamin Moore White Dove

If there’s a holy grail for white cabinetry Benjamin Moore White Dove is probably close to it. This white paint color has the perfect amount of warmth in it to make the space feel light, bright, and clean without feeling stark. Next to Decorator’s White or Chantilly Lace, White Dove can appear yellow but trust me when I tell you it’s not. It is a warm white with an LRV of 85.38. It’s got a touch of creaminess from its yellow undertones but when painted onto cabinetry, it’s gorgeous.

Moving on to the least white of today’s white cabinet paint colors, Alabaster is an absolute star kitchen cabinet paint color. It’s warm without veering all the way into a cream. It’s got an LRV of 82 making it the darkest white on our list. It carries the most color and we love it. It’s got some slight yellowish, greige undertones but when compared to actual creams or greiges, it’s still clearly a white paint color. With natural light, this white paint color shines! Under artificial light, it can appear a bit yellow under artificial light, so keep that in mind before selecting. Take that into consideration if your kitchen lacks an abundance of natural light.

Sherwin Williams Repose Gray Painted Kitchen Cabinets

Repose Gray is one of the most popular paint colors for both walls and cabinets. It’s a beautiful light to medium gray with brown or greige undertones. The LRV is 58 making it a medium to light-tone paint color. I believe it’s a popular paint color for kitchens because of its warmth. I think Sherwin Williams Repose Gray is especially nice when paired with white walls.

I personally love the blue undertones in this color for its slight blue-gray tone but note that you’ll only get that when there’s a lack of natural light.

Sherwin Williams Accessible Beige

I already mentioned that I’m loving greige kitchen cabinets. I think the MVP in the greige category is hands down Accessible Beige. Sherwin Williams Accessible Beige is a beige paint color with gray undertones. Despite its cool undertones, it remains a warm color creating this hybrid paint color known as greige. It’s beautiful. We love to see it. It’s a solid neutral that is warm and inviting on cabinetry. With an LRV of 58 it’s a beautiful medium tone that feels light and fresh.

Benjamin Moore Hale Navy Painted Kitchen Cabinets

Navy kitchen cabinets are a nice choice if you want to get away from the more traditional white and gray cabinets that we’re seeing a lot of. It’s a bold choice to put such a dark color on cabinets but with the right selection of wall color, countertops, backsplash, and hardware you can have a stunning kitchen that is not like the others on the block! I love Benjamin Moore Hale Navy as a kitchen cabinet paint color because it’s a tried and true navy blue paint color. It’s used frequently by interior designers and it’s one of Benjamin Moore’s top-selling blue paint colors. Its LRV is 6.3 and its gray undertones keep this color feeling soft and not overwhelming. It’s an excellent choice for blue cabinets.

Sherwin Williams Waterloo

Waterloo has earned its place on this list by being a striking blue kitchen cabinet color. What I love about Sherwin Williams Waterloo as a kitchen cabinet paint color is that it’s modern yet polished. The color is bold but it’s not too much. Let’s talk about the color itself. This color is a deep blue and I love it. Its LRV is a 13. Its undertones are hard to read. You may see a very (I mean veryyyyy) slight green hue pull through but to me, this color is solidly blue. It’s a nice bold choice for cabinets. 

Honorable Mention Sherwin Williams Stardew

Sherwin Williams Stardew is a beautiful, muted, medium blue that is gorgeous on cabinets. The LRV is 43 which is right there in the middle. I love this color because you can be sure that it won’t go to too baby blue or lean too purple. It stays a nice medium-tone blue with its undertones being blue-gray. It’s a lovely paint color for kitchens that are coastal style, farmhouse, or traditional. If you want to try a color on your cabinets – this one is a great one to try!
